ANALYSis
Religion and Economy Analysis: Most of New Hampshire was Puritan, so only Puritans were allowed in those areas. In the areas that weren’t restricted to only Puritans, other religions were there, like Presbyterian. The economy was mostly manufacturing, agriculture, fishing and trading. New Hampshire’s soil was mostly really bad, so only subsistence farming was done. The other economies were the main ones that provided New Hampshire goods and money.
Founding Effect Analysis: Many artisans, skilled in many areas came to New Hampshire. Fishermen(looking for profit in New Hampshire’s fishing economy), good farmers, lumbermen, good traders, and many builders/manufacturing people. All these skilled people came to New Hampshire because New Hampshire’s economy is made up of many jobs and careers. Also mostly Puritans were in the colony so they encourage more Puritans to join them and be a part of their colony if they did not want to join Massachusetts.
